Charlotte Loeb

Op 8 februari 2006 is voormalig co-huismeerster van Dudley House, Charlotte I. Loeb in haar huis in Cambridge, Massachusetts overleden. Loeb Former co-master of Dudley House, Charlotte I. Loeb, died at her home in Cambridge, Massachusetts, on February 8th, 2006.
Ze is 84 jaar oud geworden. She was 84.
Charlotte "Lotje" Loeb geboren Aarts is geboren in 1921 in Indonesie. In 140, terwijl de Tweede Wereldoorlog uitbrak, begon ze haar studie Rechten. Charlotte "Lotje" Loeb, nee Aarts, was born in Indonesia in 1921. In 1940, as World War II was breaking out, she began her legal studies.
Ze is Arthur Loeb ontmoet tijdens haar werk op de rechten-afdeling van een Amsterdams warenhuis. While working in the legal department of an Amsterdam department store, she met Arthur Loeb.
In 1956 zijn Lotje en Arthur getrouwd. Arthur onderwees jarenlang op Harvard en Lotje was erg aanwezig in de academische en artistieke wereld van Cambridge en Boston. Ze werkte in verscheidene hoedanigheden aan het Massachusetts Institute of Technology en op Harvard. Genoemd moge worden haar leraarschap Nederlands, haar werk als vertaler en, tussen 1982 en 1988, haar co-huismeesterschap (met Arthur) van Dudley House. In 1956, Lotje and Arthur married in Cambridge. Arthur taught at Harvard for many years, and Lotje was very much a part of the academic and artistic world of Cambridge and Boston. She worked in various capacities at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology and at Harvard, most notably as a teacher of Dutch, a translator, and, from 1982 to 1988, as co-master (with Arthur) of Dudley House.
Loeb laat achter Aryeh en Nomi Louv (Loeb) en hun zoon en kleinkinderen in Israël. Loeb is survived by Aryeh and Nomi Louv (Loeb) and their son and grandchildren in Israel.
